If you are a dog lover looking for some uplifting doggo content to brighten up your day, then this lovely story is right up your street! Recently, a sweet pair of stray dogs in the municipality of Cariacica, Espírito Santo, Brazil has become quite famous after bravely and wisely seeking help from a veterinary clinic there. Not only did they amaze the vets, but they also touched the heart of many locals as well.

Amiga (which means “friend” in Portuguese) was spotted several days ago in front of Veterinária Campo Grande when she was heavily pregnant and about to deliver her puppies. The smart girl surely knew where to go and what to do when she needed help.

According to the images captured by a security camera, the smart mama walked her way to the clinic, climbed all the stairs herself and then patiently waited outside. She lay there for a while, until a vet named João Áureo Rodrigues de Oliveira noticed her appearance and rushed out to check her out.

With the help of the kind-hearted vet, Amiga successfully gave birth to a litter of six little puppies. All of them were healthy and extremely adorable!

And to everyone’s surprise, it turned out Amiga was totally not alone. While she was busying welcoming her babies to this world, the father of the pups (as the vets guessed) guarded nervously right outside the clinic. He must be really worried about his partner and the kids!

Thankfully, Amiga and her family are doing fabulously under the care of the staff at Veterinária Campo Grande! Both the new parents and their babies are waiting to be adopted, and hopefully they would find themselves a perfect forever home soon.
